Oak Ridge is a townhome and condo community located in the Whippany section of Hanover Township in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 170 townhomes in the complex which was built between 1996 and 1997. Oak Ridge offers two and three bedroom townhomes with a 2-car garage and basement. All of the units have stairs to the main living level which has an open floor plan. The development is a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2017, Taylor Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $388 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and use of the community swimming pool and tennis courts. Oak Ridge is easily accessible to NJ Route 10.

Commute

Whippany has convenient access to Interstate 287 which runs north-south through Morris County and provides an easy connection to the major east-west routes including Interstate 80, 280, and NJ Route 24. Newark International Airport is a mere 30 minutes away. The train stations in Morristown and Madison are located close by.

Schools

Public Schools for residents include Bee Meadow School (K-5), Memorial Junior School (6-8), and Whippany Park High School (8-12)

Recreation

Oak Ridge residents enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. In addition to the community amenities, Hanover Township boasts many superb public attractions including the Whippany Railway Museum, the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and the Morris County Library. Patriot's Path, a 26-mile-long wilderness walkway and bike trail, also passes through the Township along the Whippany River. Hanover Township contains many municipal parks and recreational facilities including Bee Meadow Park and Pool, Black Brook Park, Central Park, Malapardis Park, Monroe Center and Park, and the Township Community Center.

Shopping

There is an amazing amount of nearby shopping for residents. From big chain stores in Parsippany and East Hanover, to small shops and boutiques in Madison and Morristown, everything you need is just a short drive away. The Rockaway Townsquare and Short Hills Malls are about 15 minutes away.
