Woodfield is a housing development located in Mount Olive in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 330 single family homes and 50 townhomes in the community which was built between 2000 and 2008 by Kaplan. Due to market conditions, the builder halted construction in 2008. However, building resumed in 2012 when D.R. Horton started construction on the final phases of the development, which is named The Grande at Mount Olive.

The single family homes feature 3-4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, basements, and a 2-car garage. They have small property sizes for easy homeowner maintenance. Models include the Ashwood, Birchwood, Cedarwood, Deerwood, and Elmwood. The single family homes are managed by a homeowners association. As of the year 2017, Executive Property Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $124 and includes common area maintenance.

Woodfield townhomes are located on Brock Lane and were constructed between 2002 and 2003. The townhomes feature 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, basements, and a 1 or 2 car garage. Models include the Asbury, Baybury, Canterbury, and Danbury. The townhomes are managed by a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2017, Executive Property Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $219 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal.

Woodfield residents share a swimming pool, basketball court, baseball field, two tennis courts, and two playgrounds. All of the single family homes and townhomes are situated on cul-de-sacs, which is great for children. The community is located on a hilltop with scenic views of the valley below. Woodfield is easily accessible to U.S. Route 46 which connects to Interstate 80. The community has a Hackettstown (07840) mailing address.

Schools

Public schools for residents include Chester M. Stephens (Kindergarten-5), Mt. Olive Middle School (6-8), and Mt. Olive High School (9-12).

Commute

Mount Olive has easy access to Interstate 80 for an eastbound commute. U.S. Route 206 runs north-south through the Township. The community has a train station on the NJ Transit Morristown Line which provides direct service to Hoboken Terminal. Passengers can transfer to another train in Dover for Midtown Direct service to NY Penn Station. At Hoboken Terminal, passengers can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. The NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line also passes through the station. Lakeland Bus Lines provides service from Mount Olive or Netcong to NY Port Authority Terminal in Midtown. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 80 minutes.

Shopping

There is an amazing about of nearby shopping for residents. The ITC Crossing, an 860,000 square foot shopping center adjacent to the International Trade Center, is located in Mount Olive. This complex is easily accessible to Interstate 80 and U.S. Routes 46 and 206. ITC Crossing features a host of retail shops including larger national chains like Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Lowe's Home Improvement, The Gap, and Old Navy. It also features many of America's most popular fast-food and casual-dining restaurants. The Rockaway Townsquare Mall is about 20 minutes away in Rockaway Township and is one of the largest and most modern malls in New Jersey. The Ledgewood Mall and Roxbury Mall are about 20 minutes away in Roxbury Township. Hackettstown, which is located about 2 miles away from Woodfield, has a charming downtown with small shops and restaurants as well as large chain stores along Country Road 517.
